Paniolo at Turtle Bay

If you attended the UH film series or the film screenings at Bambu in downtown Chinatown, you’re familiar with DON BROWN, film curator and producer of REEL HAWAII. He’s put together a fabulous series of videos and films by local producers and is featuring them at the new SURFER BAR (Surfer Magazine) at Turtle Bay. Our film on America’s first cowboys, PANIOLO O HAWAII”, opens the series this Sunday night.

From Don Brown:
“I hope you can join us sometime for this new weekly film series and discussion every Sunday evening at beautiful Turtle Bay– featuring local filmmakers from all islands…starting this weekend. And in a beautiful space overlooking the ocean. Admission: $10 / $8 Kama’aina / $5 Keiki under 16. Special Paniolo Buffet for this screening — mixed green salad, cucumbers, tomatoes & ranch dressing, corn on the cob, Paniolo Baked beans, BBQ chicken, BBQ Beef Ribs. All for $16.00 plus tax.”

I look forward to meeting folks at the screening and Q&A which is scheduled to start after the Sony Open so come on down to the North Shore! and enjoy a laid back Paniolo style night.
